Overview

Tester
Length: 24 months + 3 x 12-month extensions
Location of work: Canberra

The Tester will work on a range of complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs, utilising a variety of technologies including Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, Virtual Desktop infrastructure, and Cloud technology among others.

Key Responsibilities

- Analysing project requirements and technical specifications to understand the expected behaviour of the software
- Creating comprehensive test plans, including test cases, scenarios, and data needed for testing
- Executing tests manually or through automated tools, and documenting results and identifying defects
- Reporting defects, including details on how to reproduce them, their severity, and priority
- Collaborating with developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure a quality product
- Creating and maintaining documentation of tests, test results, and defect reports
- Performing regression testing to ensure that new code changes don/'t break existing functionalities
