What you’ll do

As Senior Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping both strategy and execution for an integrated wealth platform serving discerning HNW/UHNW clients. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve steering cross‑functional initiatives that expand investment options while enhancing digital experiences for clients. You will act as an ambassador for the business at industry events and regulatory meetings while providing invaluable mentorship to emerging talent within your team. Success in this position means consistently delivering compliant products that set new standards in client satisfaction—achieved through close collaboration with stakeholders across technology, compliance, operations, distribution, and marketing.

- Execute and evolve the strategic roadmap for the private wealth platform in alignment with operating plans and regulatory changes within the MDA landscape and superannuation sector.
- Represent the business externally as a subject matter expert at industry forums, with key clients, and regulators to advocate for the platform’s value proposition.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product managers and analysts, nurturing a collaborative team environment focused on shared success.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle across all platform offerings, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and continuous monitoring of product performance and client engagement.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful product releases and enhancements by collaborating closely with Technology, Compliance, Distribution, Operations, and Marketing departments.
- Expand the investment universe by launching sophisticated capabilities tailored for UHNW clients through advanced platform features.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends, understand client expectations, and identify competitive threats within the segment.
- Drive commercial outcomes by developing innovative products that increase funds under administration (FUA) and enhance client retention rates.
- Monitor key commercial metrics proactively addressing risks and opportunities to ensure sustainable growth of the platform.
- Ensure all products meet stringent regulatory requirements including SIS Act and SPS 515 by liaising with trustees and managing reporting obligations.

- Proven track record of driving funds under administration (FUA) growth alongside strong client retention through innovative product development strategies.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior staff members while cultivating a collaborative team culture focused on shared goals.
- Advanced analytical skills paired with excellent organisational capabilities enabling effective project management across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills allowing you to present confidently at industry forums as well as engage persuasively with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams towards common objectives by building consensus among diverse groups including technology specialists, compliance officers, marketers, distributors, and operations personnel.
- Minimum eight years’ experience in product management roles—with at least three years spent in senior or platform‑wide positions within private wealth or financial services sectors (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance/Law or related discipline (required); postgraduate qualifications are considered advantageous but not essential.
