Overview

RAMJO is an Interim Executive Officer role (part time, 6 month flexible). RAMJO is the Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation, a legislated grouping of 11 councils across NSW: Albury City, Berrigan Shire, Edward River, Federation Shire, Griffith City, Leeton Shire, Murray River, Murrumbidgee, Wentworth, Balranald and Narrandera Shire.

About RAMJO

Joint Organisations are legislated groupings of regional councils across NSW. The Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) comprises the 11 Councils listed above. NSW Joint Organisations operate to fulfil three primary roles: regional strategic planning and priority setting; advocacy and leadership; and intergovernmental cooperation. Through its collaborative network, RAMJO works to create a thriving region with sustainable communities by engaging in strategic planning, priority setting, advocacy, and engagement with governments and key stakeholders to ensure long‑term sustainability, well‑being and liveability of the region’s communities.

About the role

RAMJO is looking for an accomplished executive who can work with the Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Board, along with the RAMJO General Managers, to fulfil the obligations of the position. The Interim Executive Officer will play a crucial role in the recruitment of the permanent Executive Officer, working with Griffith City Council human resources to complete this task.

Location: Anywhere within the RAMJO footprint.

Salary: Salary is by negotiation.
