About the Role
The Director of Junior Learning leads the vision and direction of learning in the junior years, focusing on engaging and challenging learning experiences, strengthening literacy and numeracy outcomes, and supporting every student to grow as a confident and capable learner.
Working in partnership with Learning Leaders, teachers, and families, the Director drives evidence-based teaching, effective use of data, and innovative curriculum approaches aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. The role builds staff capacity through collaboration and mentoring, fostering a safe, inclusive, high-expectations culture where students are known, valued, and able to thrive.
The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. This is a full-time ongoing teacher contract with a three-year Position of Leadership (POL 4) tenure.
