Emergency Department

The Emergency Department (ED) is a well-equipped facility with 29 points of care including 3 resuscitation bays staffed by doctors and nurses with specialist training in emergency medicine.

**Reporting to the Medical Workforce Unit Manager and Directors of Emergency the successful applicant will be required**:

- To work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Supervise registrars/provisional trainees as appropriate, HMOs and interns in the Emergency Department of Latrobe Regional Hospital.

**To be successful in this position you will need to have**:

- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Relevant Experience in Emergency Department; and
- Registration with ACEM/ACCRM/FRACGP as a Trainee is desirable.
