You will be challenged, and no two days are ever the same in this role. Your new role: - Maintaining, control and diagnosing FMCG machinery such as high-speed fillers, mixers, conveyors, sensors, hydraulics, robotic machinery and packaging machines. - Troubleshooting mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and operating setting using hydraulic & pneumatics - Planned maintenance and using systems such as MEX - Working with steam and/or gas appliances, preferred by not essential - Identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects - StableMonday to Friday set roster -Night shift 21:00—05:00with the possibility of overtime on alternating weekends About you: - Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter working in a manufacturing environment - Experience in the areas of planned maintenance systems (MEX) - Steam or gas appliance experience preferred, but not essential - Familiarity with automation and reliability focus - Confined Space, Working at Heights and EWP certification would be advantageous - Show a great deal of initiative and be a strong advocate of team work As the successful Maintenance Fitter, your skills and ability to think on your feet will be highly valued within our always-on-the-go Engineering & Maintenance team.
