About the role
• We’re all about conservative investing in a select and concentrated group of quality businesses operating in any global location and listed on market exchanges across the western markets.
• As a senior member of the investment team, you will analyse businesses and make recommendations as to whether they should be considered for inclusion in the global portfolio. This is a high-impact, largely autonomous role dedicated to delivering outstanding results for our investors.

Day to day, you'll:
• Manage and execute the investment strategy in partnership with executive leadership.
• Continue to develop the strategy recognising that investment management is an evolving process.
• Provide strategic insights and investment recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer.
• Apply advanced analysis for investment decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. These are principally European based stakeholders including investors, advisers, brokers, fund administrators, platform providers, asset consultants and research houses.
• Negotiate agreements with stakeholders to achieve optimal efficiencies and investment outcomes.
• Integrate sustainable investing practices.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior audiences.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and effective risk management.


About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and strong commercial judgement.

You will also require the following:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, commerce, economics, or a related discipline. Being a CFA Charterholder will be particularly well regarded.
• At least five years experience in listed equities with a strong record of performance
• Deep industry expertise and networks particularly in the European markets
• Proven experience in international investment markets
• Exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative skills
• Record of proactively identifying potential investment risks
• Advanced stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work independently on business analysis yet at the same time contributing to a team based approach in regard to portfolio management
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
