Overview Clinical Nurse Specialist - Staff Health and Wellbeing Location: Perth Unit/Division: WACHS - Central Office > Work Health and Safety Work Type: Casual, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time, and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Eligibility to Apply To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). Other Conditions WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. As well as this, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Please note that completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required. Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA. The following should be noted: - The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and assess on a regular basis. - Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. - Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/03/2027. Position Profile This position is responsible for the review, development and implementation of systems and processes to facilitate the delivery of a comprehensive staff occupational health service at WA Country Health Service (WACHS). Supervises the delivery of quality care to WACHS employees, developing standards of practice, implementing recommendations to changes to clinical practice as required, initiating quality improvement activities and providing a consultation service within the area of occupational health, fitness for work and pre-employment health assessments to all employees within WACHS. Plans, coordinates and manages service changes, projects and initiatives to meet project goals and timelines. Service provision will be in accordance with Department needs; regional travel will be required in this role.
