Within Respiratory Nursing there are two streams, Complex Respiratory and Ventilation. The Complex Respiratory stream covers Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, and management of severe asthma using biological therapies. The Ventilation stream covers long‑term home invasive and non‑invasive ventilation, and ex‑preterm infants requiring home oxygen. Position Profile This role is for a Clinical Nurse providing care to children with respiratory conditions. The CN will work within a team of Clinical Nurses, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Clinical Nurse Consultant. Responsibilities include providing knowledge, clinical expertise and leadership to staff and families; coordinating care for patients; and collaborating with multi‑disciplinary members of the Respiratory Department, CAHS, and other WA Health teams.
