Experienced Gardener

About the Role

gforce is seeking an experienced Gardener to assist with the care and maintenance of a wide range of plants, flowers and gardens for a local government organisation in Ballarat.

What’s in it for you?

- Casual rate of $36 – 37ph
- Full-time hours Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Temporary assignment, 4-6 weeks, starting ASAP
- Potential for ongoing work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Weeding, planting, pruning, staking, raking, spreading mulch
- Weed & pest control (spraying)
- Zero-turn and push mowing & brush cutting
- Other general gardening duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in gardening essential
- Relevant horticulture qualifications an advantage
- Physically fit for labouring duties
- Able to work in a team and follow instructions
- Safety conscious
- Current drivers’ licence
- Able to pass a police check and drug screen
- Have PPE including steel cap boots, hi viz long-sleeved shirt
