Experienced Gardener

About the Role

gforce is seeking an experienced Gardener to assist with the care and maintenance of a wide range of plants, flowers and gardens for a local government organisation in Ballarat.

What's in it for you?

  • Casual rate of $36 – 37ph
  • Full-time hours Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:30pm
  • Temporary assignment, 4-6 weeks, starting ASAP
  • Potential for ongoing work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Weeding, planting, pruning, staking, raking, spreading mulch
  • Weed & pest control (spraying)
  • Zero-turn and push mowing & brush cutting
  • Other general gardening duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in gardening essential
  • Relevant horticulture qualifications an advantage
  • Physically fit for labouring duties
  • Able to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Safety conscious
  • Current drivers' licence
  • Able to pass a police check and drug screen
  • Have PPE including steel cap boots, hi viz long-sleeved shirt
