Lead Australia’s favourite blue cheese brand, Castello, known for its craftsmanship that puts a creative spin on traditional favourites as well as unique cheese creations. This person will drive Castello’s clear growth ambitions in Australia and New Zealand through strong brand leadership. The role focuses on translating the global Castello brand strategy into measurable, local plans for the ANZ market. It requires close collaboration with sales and category teams to deliver and execute effective commercial plans. Equally important is working with the global brand and product teams, creative agencies, and media partners to craft and launch compelling local initiatives and market‑relevant NPD. These efforts will reflect Castello’s heritage of craftsmanship and innovation while ensuring consistent, engaging brand messaging that fuels growth and deepens consumer connection.
- Ownership of long term strategy & annual business plan development and execution for Castello in Australia and New Zealand.
- Owner of end‑to‑end planning, working with the sales teams, retailer media teams, and agency partners to ensure consistent execution from brand assets and messaging to in‑store execution.
- Ownership of core brand metrics, tracking and working with local stakeholders, global and regional business partners to optimise plans and deliver annual targets.
- Overseeing media strategy and execution for Castello offline and online ATL media and BTL channels in partnership with agencies.
- Working closely with both internal and external partners to ensure strong, effective, and efficient execution of brand initiatives.
- End‑to‑end NPD project management, from business case development to successful product launch, requiring excellent stakeholder management and collaboration with both local and global teams to ensure success.
- Take a lead role in shaping strategy and executing initiatives, collaborating with agency partners and local and global brand teams, while managing commercial P&L to optimise marketing efficiency and maximise profitability .

Familiarity with data tools (Nielsen, Quantium, Circana) and minimum 5 years brand management experience are important. Your curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to influence will drive continuous improvement and strong results.

- Drives implementation of brand and brand strategies and secures strong buy‑in in local markets and supply chain.

- Responsible and accountable for Brand performance, growth and profitability.
- Provides input to overall Brand strategy.
- Guards local execution in line with the brand strategy.

- Identifies and drives brand profit improvement initiatives.

- Secures strategic alignment across key stakeholders (i.e. Markets, Supply Chain, Innovation etc).

- Develops and executes launch and roll‑out plans in alignment with markets.
- Facilitates optimal price positioning and strategy in key markets.
- Acts as a Brand expert within the organization contributing to the development of new products, systems, standards and/or processes within own area or across marketing.
- Manages external agency relationships.
Educational background
- Advanced expertise (minimum 6-7 years) within a professional discipline.
- University (Degree) Brand building.
- Experience with acting in an international matrix organization.
