We are looking for an experienced Front Office Coordinator/Senior Receptionist to join our new Mindplace Townsville practice opening in November 2025. Be at the heart of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives – this includes both physical and mental health.

About the opportunity

As a Front Office Coordinator you’ll be benefiting from exceptional development opportunities to take you as far as you want to go;

- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression

- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records

- Handling payments

- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

- High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

- Supporting the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice

Who we’re looking for

- Available to work Monday to Friday in a brand-new Mental Health clinic

- Available to commence employment from first week of November 2025

- Previous receptionist experience in a psychology clinic is desirable

- Studying or have studied Bachelor of Psychology will be highly regarded

- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and service innovation

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues

- Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
