About the Role
Motors Hobart are seeking a qualified and reliable Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and delivers exceptional results for our guests.
- Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
- Carry out inspections and complete roadworthy or warranty work
- Accurately document all work and follow workshop procedures
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Work collaboratively with the service and parts departments
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Dealership or manufacturer training highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Monday to Friday role with regular working hours
- Ongoing manufacturer and dealership training
- Stable, full-time employment in a professional workshop
