About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work with our Engineering Practice to design, build, and enhance applications and APIs. You’ll play a key role in improving our systems, tools, and engineering practices, ensuring we deliver reliable and secure solutions.

What you/'ll do

- Analyse requirements and translate them into robust technical designs

- Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs

- Champion quality, standardisation, and best practices across development and delivery

- Write and execute unit, integration, and system tests to maintain high quality

- Collaborate with engineers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes

What you/'ll bring

- 2+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot

- Strong understanding of REST API development

- React experience is a plus but not required

- Familiarity with any of the following tools and frameworks is an advantage:

- Frameworks: Java, Kotlin, Spring

- Cloud: AWS, Azure

- Containers & orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift

- CI/CD: Jenkins, Helm

- Testing: WireMock, Stubby, REST Assured, Pact JV, Jest, Enzyme

- DevOps practices and tooling
