Overview

SYC has been selected as a provider of Inclusive Employment Australia, a new specialist disability employment program. SYC is a not-for-profit organisation with a long history of supporting people with disability to access meaningful employment, delivering a quality service and building sustainable careers. We’re deeply committed to our community, working alongside clients, partners, and staff to help people succeed. As part of this new program, we’re expanding our team.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Coach to empower participants by helping them understand their individual circumstances, build confidence and skills, and connect with tailored employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Empower participants by helping them understand their individual circumstances, build confidence and skills, and connect with tailored employment opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients, employers and partners to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications and experience

- Experience working with people with disability in roles like support work, case management, or employment services is highly regarded.
- We welcome transferable skills from other sectors, such as education, customer service, community services, sales, or coaching.

Key screening requirements

- All successful applicants must be willing to complete relevant employment screening and to maintain requisite clearances or checks as required.
