Newly created job for a Business Analyst with expertise in the Superannuation industry.
The project you will be working on will be focused on data integrity and remediation.
This role blends deep analytical capability with technical skills and project leadership to ensure the Fund delivers accurate member-focussed outcomes, with the Business Analyst responsible for interrogating problem spaces, documenting findings and deliver project outcomes in line with regulatory requirements, member expectations, and our organisational strategy.
Skill set / Experience needed
- Proven background working as a Business Analyst in the Superannuation domain or a regulated financial services environment
- Project experience across data integrity and/or remediation
- Experience partnering with internal risk, technology and data, and operations teams and external providers including the Administrator to ensure data lineage, quality, integrity and risks are understood and embedded into solution designs
- RG146 accreditation (or willing to undertake) (desired)
- Strong knowledge of superannuation operations and regulatory obligations preferred, with industry qualifications (RG146 or equivalent) highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Excel, or BI tools) desirable
- Solid understanding of systems integration, data flows and operational processes desirable
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and facilitating discussions across various levels of seniority
- Collaborative and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders
- Ability to balance detail-oriented analysis with delivery-focussed project oversight
- Ability to work within a self-directed culture and navigate ambiguity
- Possess intermediate to advanced level skills, knowledge and experience in the practical application of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to SQL, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
- A broad understanding of business and information technology including database management.
Contract and location
This role will start as a 12 month fixed term contract with the view to make it permanent thereafter.
The client offers a very flexible workplace, 1-2 days in office per week.
