The Role:
We are welcoming experienced candidates for the Full-Time Chef de Partie
position to thrive across all the sections.
The Criteria:
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, stock ordering, and menu development - incorporating seasonal fresh local produce.
- Have a passion for creating delicious, expertly prepared, cooked, and presented food.
- Keep an organized kitchen and uphold a food safety program to assist in maintaining the kitchen, food, and hygiene standards.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the restaurant’s concepts and menus.
- Leading by example in the back of house
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
The Skills:
- Hold relevant qualifications
- At least a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
- Demonstrate motivation, commitment, and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with a growth mindset to continually learn and improve.
- Thrive in a high volume and high-pressure environment.
- Creative flair, passion, and strong knowledge of food production
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- WHS, Food Safety and HACCP knowledge
- Previous experience in Gastro Pub style venue will be highly regarded.
