Lead the Future of ERP Migrations – Join Our Centre of Excellence
Are you passionate about the power of the cloud? This role is based in Canberra and involves leading a bold new initiative to redefine how Australian federal government agencies move to the cloud. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Federal Australian Agencies will guide major agencies through ERP migration with strategy, expert delivery, and scalable, lasting impact. The initial assignment is an 18-month transformation program, after which the successful candidate will transition into the broader Customer Success and Delivery area.
Please note: This role is based in Canberra and Australian Citizens with the capability to secure and maintain government security clearance are preferred.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Define the account strategy in collaboration with SAP’s Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem.
- Bridge customer business strategy and SAP solutions by crafting to-be business and solution architectures and designing an enterprise transformation roadmap to enable cloud adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to help customers achieve their desired SAP-based Enterprise Architecture outcomes.
- Support assessment of current customer solutions and identify opportunities for faster adoption and expansion of SAP footprints.
- Engage with customers to support sales cycles as part of the SAP account team.
- Drive business and IT architecture definitions ensuring alignment with SAP, customers, and partners.
- Develop roadmaps to help customers transition to SAP cloud solutions; provide architecture deliverables (business & solution architecture, target state, transformation roadmap).
- Support creating demand through thought leadership and innovation positioning; understand customer business processes and future needs; promote standard cloud architectures.
- Guide governance, transformation roadmaps, and the expansion of SAP portfolio value with the customer.
Experience and Qualifications
- Considerable experience in software/IT as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor, with expertise in Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting, or Business Development and a track record of successful outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models and cloud-based commerce/business networks.
- Proven leadership and project management experience; ability to drive tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
- Proven track record in the Public Sector is preferred if required.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Togaf or SAPIEA-10 certifications and experience using EAM tools are an added value.
