Your Impact

We’re currently seeking a Cardiac Sonographer (Specialist Cardiac Physiologist) to join our team part-time, working Mondays and Fridays in Coffs Harbour.

You’ll use your expertise in echocardiography to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Our echocardiography services include:

- Outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography

- Exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography

- Assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography studies

You’ll play a key role in helping us deliver outstanding care and shape the future of cardiac services in regional NSW.

Responsibilities

- Operate cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images

- Interpret and process requests for cardiac procedures with attention to detail and accuracy

- Document patient conditions and ensure clear communication with referring clinicians

- Provide excellent patient care and explain procedures in a compassionate, professional manner

- Collaborate with Cardiologists and other staff to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

- Current registration with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)

- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to continuous learning

- Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills

- A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge
