About the Role
As Audit Director, you’ll lead high-quality external audits across a diverse client base, providing strategic direction, technical insight, and thought leadership. You’ll work closely with partners, manage a high-performing team, and engage directly with Boards and Audit Committees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading multiple complex audit engagements across all phases
- Developing strategic client relationships and contributing to business growth
- Mentoring and developing audit talent at all levels
- Reviewing and signing off audit reports with precision and confidence
- Building subject matter expertise in the aged care and NFP sectors
- Representing the firm at industry events and forums
About You
You are a natural leader with:
- CA/CPA qualifications (RCA accreditation highly regarded)
- 10+ years’ experience in external audit within Australia
- Strong technical knowledge of AASBs and ASAs
- A track record of managing complex audit jobs and high-performing teams
- A collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and stakeholder skills
- Experience or interest in the aged care, NFP or disability services sectors
Proficiency in CaseWare or similar audit software and a strong grasp of Microsoft Office tools are essential. A current driver’s licence is also required.
