About Your Opportunity

As the Paralegal, you will work effectively and efficiently to provide high quality support services to the Legal Counsel team to support the delivery of legal services to Seqwater’s functional groups by producing and managing a high level of transactional legal documentation and correspondence on behalf of Seqwater. You will demonstrate good team work, always be professional and show attributes of drive, innovation, initiative and cooperation.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide timely paralegal support for the legal counsel team on a variety of legal matters.

- Draft and prepare contracts, agreements, leases, deeds, and related documents using the approved Seqwater’s precedent suite.

- Conduct legal research, review and assist legal counsel to provide advice on documents across multiple areas of law and the business.

- Manage confidential records and ensure compliance with internal policies.

- Assist in developing templates, precedents, and contract management tools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Currently enrolled in a law degree (preferably 2nd year or above).

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret legislation.

- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and time management to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability in a changing environment.

- Understanding of confidentiality, legal professional privilege, and sensitivity in handling confidential information.

This role will be offered on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE), offering a competitive salary, plus 12.75% superannuation.
