Facilities Maintenance Officer - Building Services

Location: Tamworth

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Undertake day to day manual labour tasks associated with facilities operations.

- Undertake general repairs/maintenance on building assets.

- Liaise with key stakeholders in various buildings and community facilities.

The Facilities Maintenance Officer - Building Services is responsible for:

- Undertake operational activities and functions as required by the Building Operations Officer and Building Services Technical Officer

- Complete day to day repairs and maintenance to a high professional standard at Council properties and other facilities as required.

- Provide access and induct service contract staff to various Council Buildings.

- Undertake inspection and provide feedback in relation to all operational works associated with the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure associated with building assets.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

- Demonstrated experience in facilities/buildings maintenance, or extensive experience in a similar role.

- Current Drivers Licence

- WH&S Construction and Induction Card

- Work Safely at Heights

Salary range: Grade 6 - $1,113.60 - $1,205.00 plus super per week for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
