The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Body Builder to join the team at Wales Vehicle repairs.

You will play a crucial part in crafting and assembling custom bodies, structures, and specialized components for a diverse range of large vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles. Your expertise in metal fabrication, design interpretation, and precision assembly will contribute to the creation of functional and visually appealing heavy vehicle bodies that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Role responsibilities

- Assess the vehicle’s damage to determine how to perform the restoration work
- Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained & used appropriately
- Treat company equipment with the same respect for your own tools
- Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate
- Co-ordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed
- Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production
- Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met
