About the company: SK Automotive is a privately owned workshop that has been operating for the last 10 years and specializes in automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles of every make and model. We are located in the Western Sydney region, in Blacktown suburbs, one street off Sunnyholt Road. At SK Automotive, we take great pride and professionalism in the work we do for ourselves and customers while working in a safe and friendly work environment. We are offering the opportunity for a qualified and motivated mechanic to join our current team of experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable tradesmen. You will be responsible for vehicle servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and general vehicle maintenance.

Location: Blacktown, Sydney, NSW 2148, Australia

Work type: Full-time

Pay range ($AUD): AUD $75000 – $125000

Tasks & responsibilities: We have vacancies for qualified Technicians for our Service Department to join our team at SK Automotive and Tyres Blacktown. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

1. Carry out service and repairs on a timely basis
2. Achieve monthly productivity targets as set by the Service Manager
3. Ensure workshop quality control levels are attained
4. Maintain a clean and orderly service shop through the 5S principles
5. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by identifying, assessing, and controlling risks to safety
6. Complete all guest requests on the repair order to a high-quality standard
7. Maintain accurate clocking practices by clocking on and off every repair order
8. Carry out all tasks required according to standard work procedures

Qualifications & experience: To be successful in this position, you will need to possess:

1. A passion for cars with a genuine interest in motor mechanics
2. Adherence to all Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures
3. Good math and English skills (written and oral)
4. Team player with the ability to meet deadlines
5. Friendly and polite demeanor
6. Pride in your work

Required Language Skills: Very basic English
