The Role
The Quality Systems Manager maintains all external accreditations regarding food safety and regulatory compliance for Brownes Dairy. You will coordinate and drive HACCP and Quality system procedure development for all products, processes and materials.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain accreditation, HACCP, BRCGS, Spotless and regulatory requirements. Liaise with external accrediting and regulatory bodies on behalf of Brownes Foods Operations.
- Primary contact in external audits. Report on all auditing activities.
- Co-ordinate, schedule and follow up on internal audit program. This includes internal and housekeeping audits at the Balcatta site.
- Maintain develop and improve Brownes quality system program. This includes but not limited to HACCP, product hold process, corrective action requests and document control.
- Increase the level of understanding of the Quality system and HACCP requirements at an operational level, this includes HACCP awareness training.
- Liaise with Operational areas of Brownes and recommend quality improvements as appropriate.
- Act as recall co-ordinator when required.
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Food Science/Technology
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality role preferably within FMCG.
