Senior Hazmat Consultant / Hazmat Manager – Brisbane – $150,000 – $180,000 + Company Car

Working with a fast‑growing environmental and occupational health consultancy that’s expanding into Queensland, we’re looking for a Senior Hazmat Consultant / Hazmat Manager to lead our Brisbane operations. This is more than a project role; it’s a genuine leadership opportunity to shape the company’s presence in Queensland, mentor staff, and build long‑term client relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

- Lead hazardous materials projects end‑to‑end (asbestos, lead, mould, etc.)

- Provide expert technical advice and compliance guidance

- Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments

- Mentor and manage a team of consultants

- Build client relationships and support business growth

What you’ll bring:

- Strong experience in Hazmat consulting (asbestos, lead, hazardous substances)

- Solid knowledge of WHS and environmental regulations

- Project management skills – delivering on time and within budget

- Experience mentoring or managing junior consultants

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Env Sci, Occ Hygiene, Engineering)

- PTA certification (highly regarded)
