The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Wahroonga.
We are seeking a Korean speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly person in care. Ideally you will be able to speak Korean fluently, be able to visit for a cuppa and a chat or weather permitting take a walk around the grounds together and stop at the onsite café.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
