Boilermakers, Fitters & Riggers - Shutdown Works, Port Kembla

If you are a Qualified Boilermaker, Fitter or ticketed Dogman/Rigger who possesses experience with Shutdowns and would like to commit to a consistent work schedule or the odd Shutdown then this may be the right fit for you

All Shutdowns are Port Kembla-based and without LAFA or travel allowances offered, so are best suited to those living locally or within a comfortable driving distance

Major Shutdowns vary in duration from days to weeks, and compliment regular weekend works

If you meet all required criteria and would like to be considered, then please apply ASAP

Upcoming Shutdowns:

- Blast Furnace, Berrima Cement Works, Sinter Plant, Coal Terminal...

Positions Available:

- Boilermakers - $50 PAYG / $58 ABN
- Fitters - $50 PAYG / $58 ABN
- Riggers - $47 PAYG / $54 ABN

Working Hours:

10-12 Hour Shifts

Meet:

6am meet at local yard

Pay:

FLAT Hourly Rates + Super or ABN

Criteria:

- Valid & relevant Mechanical Trade Certificate & Tickets
- Previous Shutdown or Heavy Industry experience
- Working at Heights & Confined Spaces tickets (valid within 2 years)
- Whitecard & full PPE
- Own lockout locks + Basic Tools
- Be willing to complete a Drug & Alcohol Screening
