Your new role

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Buchan Uniting Early Learning in a part-time role, commencing in 2026.

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care in a small, community-focused service.

We are also open to applications from Educators who are currently working towards an ACECQA-recognised Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

Responsibilities

- Part-time ongoing role available, commencing Term 1 2026
- Support safe, inclusive and responsive educational programs for children
- Additional casual work available at other Uniting services if desired

Your skills and experience

To be successful in your application, you will:

- Meet the person specification outlined in the position description.
- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA) or have completed at least 50% of an ACECQA-recognised qualification.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- Have the ability to contribute to the delivery of a developmentally appropriate program in collaboration with other Educators, children, and families.
- Be able to plan, reflect, manage time, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Have a reasonable understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Hold a valid Working with Children’s Check.
