You will be joining a small Melbourne based team who specialise in the design and construction of large mining/quarrying facilities, who have built a solid reputation for their client first approach and high standards across design and delivery. This firm have developed key relationships with substantial repeat business.

Your New Role

You will be joining the team as a Project Manager, where you will take a lead role working directly with clients and managing projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

A brief step by step outline of your role will be:

- Take brief from client and understanding their requirements
- Collaborate and manage in-house and offshore design teams ensuring it matches to the brief and budget.
- Manage offshore procurement and manufacturing of materials and equipment.
- Manage and ensure construction, installation and commissioning of new facility and equipment.

Job Requirements

Ideally you will be a Project Manager who has gained over 7 years’ experience alongside holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, where you’ve also gained experience across either mining/quarrying facilities, and/or large industrial or plant projects.

1. Project & Program Management

- Complete lifecycle project delivery
- Development and implementation of project delivery frameworks
- Contract administration, governance, and controls
- Stakeholder engagement and risk-led coordination
- Program integration and change control

1. Design Management

- Multi-discipline design coordination and assurance
- Technical interface and compliance management
- Procurement and constructability oversight
- EPC and D&C model alignment

1. Systems & Process Improvement

- Lean-based framework design tailored to client culture
- Control systems integration and reporting development
Standardisation of change management protocols
- Performance improvement and cultural alignment
