Receptionist & Account Administration Assistant - Toowoomba - QLD

Land Transport is a leading national Road Transport company who specialise in General Freight Transport. Operating for over 40 years, we are dedicated to putting our workers first, providing a safe working environment with job security.

In this role we are looking for a Receptionist / Accounts Administration Assistant to join our team based in Toowoomba Qld.

Operating from our Head Office in Toowoomba Qld, this role will include reception and the ability to work directly with our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable teams. You will bring to the team your excellent accuracy, time management and organisational skills.

About the role (but not limited to):

- Answering the phones and redirecting incoming calls in a professional and engaging manner
- Distribution of incoming mail & packages
- Assisting with taking pick-ups & quotes
- Assisting with tracking freight for both local & interstate
- General duties for creditors and debtors
- Accurately enter data into the JAIX software
- Process credit card payments
- Follow up on outstanding accounts
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

About you:

- Flexibility and your willingness to learn
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Experience with JAIX – advantages but not essential

Your hours of work will be 40 hours per week (paid 38 hours and accrue 2 hours per week as RDOs). Working Monday to Friday, working within Land Transport's core business hours.
