About the Position

The Senior Investigator position manages a caseload of investigations including difficult and complex matters. This may include, but is not limited to, issues involving complex trust arrangements and uncertainty regarding employment arrangements. The role coordinates and undertakes pro-active compliance activities to identify employer non-compliance throughout Western Australia. The position also takes a lead role in improving communication and understanding about compliance matters with employers, insurers and other stakeholders. The Senior Investigator position performs the functions of an Inspector for the purposes of the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023.

To be successful in this position prospective applicants should possess:

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience conducting investigations
- The ability to effectively manage caseloads and priorities

Selection Methodology

A variety of assessment methodologies may be used throughout the recruitment process, including:

- Interview
- Skills assessment
- Aptitude testing
- Psychometric testing
- Referee checks

The successful applicant will be required to complete a National Police Clearance.
