Equipment Product Specialist (Disability and Mobility Aids) - Norlane, VIC

Join a team dedicated to improving lives through cutting-edge assistive technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician (OT/Physio) with experience in complex rehab equipment, or medical device sales professional who’s eager to step into the disability and mobility aids space.

Your clinical expertise will be key to enhancing service delivery, building strong relationships, and supporting innovation in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complex rehab equipment trials, including powered wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, power assist devices, and scripted/custom commodes.
- Provide expert consultancy and support to clients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams on the selection, trial, and supply of assistive technology based on clinical reasoning.
- Build and maintain key account relationships, managing a portfolio of customers while driving business development and meeting monthly revenue targets.
- Deliver product education and training to clients and healthcare providers, ensuring effective understanding and application of complex rehab equipment.
- Work independently, using exceptional judgment to select and recommend appropriate assistive technology solutions.
- Support the development of clinical services and resources in response to customer demand and evolving needs.

Required Expertise & Experience:

- A qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy is highly desirable, with extensive experience in assistive technology and complex rehabilitation equipment.
- Expertise in powered wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, power assist devices, and scripted/custom commodes.
- Experience in sales within the healthcare industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumables) with transferable skills into assistive technology.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to assess needs, trial, script, and recommend solutions tailored to individual requirements.
- Excellent business development skills, with a proven ability to manage key accounts, generate new business, and meet revenue targets.
- Current AHPRA Registration (if applicable), with relevant industry experience and qualifications.
- Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
- Proof of flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster, or a valid medical exemption.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a National Criminal Records Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
