OSHC Before & After School Care Educator - Wentworth Point

Overview

We're on the lookout for energetic and passionate Educators on a permanent part time basis to join our Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) crew in Wentworth Point. Our team lives by our core values – fun, innovative, involved, remarkable & genuine, and if you're joining our team, these values will resonate with you too. The role is based in Wentworth Point. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per week on a regular, permanent basis: After School Care - 2:30pm and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children in our care
- Assist in the planning and preparation of exciting and innovative activities that enrich the lives of the children in our care
- Cultivate a welcoming and nurturing environment
- Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
- Prepare nutritious food and maintain a clean environment

About You

We are looking for confident, energetic candidates who have highly polished communication skills and are able to relate to a wide range of stakeholders, from prep to parents or even the school principal. You/'ll also have these remarkable attributes:

- A passion for, and experience working with children and ensuring their safety, wellbeing and happiness.
- Great team player, always enthusiastic about helping the team achieve the highest quality service
- Innovative - you show initiative by presenting new ideas and solving problems as they arise.
- Love to have FUN
- You are qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Education, Youth, Sports Science, Social Work, Health related, and more. See acecqa.gov.au for more information
