Job Description As we embrace the next phase of growth, we are in search of an experienced Front End Lead Engineer to be part of our journey. Someone who can embrace ambiguity whilst leading through active engagements with clients. You’ll work all the way from discovery to delivery and beyond to solve problems that are at the heart of some of our clients most burning issues. You’ll find the work challenging, the people stimulating and the environment friendly, welcoming and accepting. On a daily basis our lead engineers can expect to: - Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagements from ideation through to implementation and maintenance, - Actively engage in the delivery of projects, - Be proactively client-focussed; evangelise and engage effectively, - Create and execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, - Perform code reviews and mentor other developers, - Challenge others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model, - Participate in engaging with the community through meetups and conferences; espouse others to do the same. - Be part of a growing and dynamic team, helping to shape the direction of our company Qualifications The skills and experience we need are: - A bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) - Self-motivation and excitement about working in a start-up consulting environment. - A strong history of end to end software delivery with experience across tech specifically: React, NodeJS, .Net. and/ or Java. - Demonstrated delivery of solutions leveraging microservices as well as DevOps, Continuous Integration and build automation approaches - Excited about creating bespoke, technology-driven digital productsIndustry experience with exposure to AWS cloud services as well as digital product creation experience leveraging Agile and Lean approaches Additional information At Ippon, we see things differently both in terms of how we work with our clients and how we engage with our people.
