We are excited to welcome Expressions of Interests for Plant Operators to join Sitzler Pty Ltd, a prominent name in the Civil Construction industry. Ability to travel to remote sites after this project will be highly desirable.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Includes but not limited to the following:

- Operate plant and equipment and have a willingness to be trained

- Maintain plant on a daily basis or as required

- Maintain plant in a clean and safe condition

- Complete plant prestart inspections sheets prior to operating plant and equipment

- Monitor materials for quality and quantity as delivered to worksite and advise supervisor of any discrepancies

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications

Minimum level of knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job:

- Nationally Recognised Construction Induction

- Current Licences/Certificates of competency for machinery

- 3 years experience in the civil industry operating earthmoving / load-shifting equipment

- Knowledge and relevant work experience in the operation of plant and equipment used on road construction, drainage maintenance, subdivision and all general building sites

- Relevant experience in the safe and competent operational procedures of mechanical plant in construction

- Ability to read and comply with approved traffic control plans and road construction plans
