About this Opportunity
As an IT Service Desk and Support Technician, you will be driven to deliver customer-focused IT services to RFDS SA/NT staff. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will provide efficient and responsive service desk IT support, addressing IT and equipment-related issues in person, over the phone, and remotely. Your role will also involve maintaining the network, equipment, and software, while continually identifying opportunities to enhance technical support procedures and improve overall service delivery for RFDS SA/NT.

Specifically, you will:
- Provide timely service desk support for IT issues to all employees across multiple locations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within assigned network access levels, escalating unresolved problems as necessary.
- Log issues and resolutions to aid in reporting, trend analysis, and ensure seamless customer service within the team.
- Maintain computers, networks, and IT resources efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Manage telecommunications (mobile phone replacements) and electronic infrastructure (printers, copiers, end user devices), ensuring minimal downtime, and support regional IT champions and equipment during site visits.
About You
You are:
- Customer-focused with excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
To be considered for the role you require:
- 1+ years' experience in IT support, including network services, Windows/iOS devices, and remote desktop in a WAN environment.
- Strong hardware installation and basic fault-finding skills, with experience in managing small IT projects.
