About the Role

The Learn to Swim Team Leader will manage and lead a team of Swim Teachers, ensuring programs and services meet standards. You will inspire and motivate your team through clear goals, support policy implementation, and oversee health and safety at the facility, including the pool area. Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring pool water quality, plant room, and cleanliness issues
- Working autonomously and providing leadership
- Delivering programs within budgets, objectives, and KPIs, with support from the Area Coordinator
- Providing support as the Manager on Duty to ensure service and safety standards are maintained, consulting with other leaders as needed

About You

You have strong leadership skills to manage a large team in a busy aquatic environment, with a focus on aquatic supervision to ensure high levels of safety and supervision. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.

Essential Qualifications

- Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM or equivalent)
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Desired Qualifications and Experience

- Aquatic Technical Operator Skill Set Certificate
- Knowledge of plant and operational aspects of aquatic facilities
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
- Previous supervisory experience in similar facilities is desirable
