PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school, focusing on developing the whole person through academic excellence, pastoral care, and co-curricular programs.

The Role

We invite expressions of interest from candidates qualified and experienced in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. Candidates with Lifeguard training are also encouraged to apply.

About the Facilities and Opportunities

The upcoming grand opening of our Joan Montgomery Centre, our new Sports, Aquatic and Fitness Centre, promises exciting opportunities for new team members. Positions are casual, with hours including mornings and afternoons/evenings, from Monday to Saturday.

About You

You should have relevant qualifications, experience, and a passion for teaching swimming and water safety to children, understanding their developmental needs. You are a team player with professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Essential certifications include current AUSTSWIM/SAT, Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certificates.

All staff must support Child Safe Standards and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Additional Information

Positions are casual, with shifts spread across mornings and evenings, Monday to Saturday. We are committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
