To carry out Gatehouse Security duties at a client site in accordance with Certis Security Australia standard orders and site instructions, in compliance with all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing the vehicle movement, access control and visitor passes
- Checking emails, administration and required reporting
- Confirm everyone who is issued with a security access card to the site has completed the relevant induction and provided the appropriate approved access level.
- Identify and report any security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
- Internal and external foot patrols
- Issue of permanent and temporary staff security access cards, contractor and visitor passes.
- Monitor WHS, CCTV surveillance and respond to various site alarms
- Provide daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms and any checks.
- Provide perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorised access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the Site perimeter.
- Respond to alarms generated by access systems, fire systems, building management control systems, CCTV systems and any issues raised by staff or contractors.
- Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, Screening Area, Site buildings and grounds via CCTV, access control system and the visitor management system process.
- Traffic control – pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, parking areas.

Qualification

- The applicable Security Licence of the State or Territory in which you work and a current Senior First Aid Certificate in accordance with the applicable Security legislation and associated Regulations
- A current and applicable Drivers Licence of the State or Territory in which you work, if the inherent requirements of your position requires you to drive
- Risk and Assessment Qualification

Skills

- Advanced Computer Skills – literacy in all MS Office products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills – verbal and written
- Report writing and presentation skills

Knowledge

Experience

- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role(s)
- Prior demonstrated experience in staff management & performance management
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment, managing client relationships
