We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resource Adviser to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organisation's workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and workplace relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies, including advertising job vacancies, interviewing, and testing applicants.
Maintain personnel records and manage human resource information systems.
Advise management on workplace relations policies, procedures, staff performance, and disciplinary matters.
Coordinate and oversee the induction of new staff, providing information on employment conditions, salaries, and career progression opportunities.
Record and manage job vacancy information, ensuring accurate job descriptions, wage details, and employment conditions.
Provide information to employers and job seekers regarding current job vacancies within the organisation.
Negotiate employment terms and conditions, and facilitate the resolution of workplace disputes and grievances.
Interpret and apply employment legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts.
Develop, plan, and implement enterprise agreements, workplace relations policies, and employee engagement programs.
Oversee workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives to enhance workplace culture and productivity.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in human resource management, recruitment, or workplace relations.
Strong understanding of Australian employment laws, workplace policies, and dispute resolution procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
