About the Role:

The role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team. The position is project-focused and involves engineering design for the mining, minerals processing, and utility sectors.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have the capability to take on various roles within a project, from design and planning to finalization and delivery. Senior Electrical Engineers should have around 8 years of experience, with a proven track record in mineral processing or material handling projects. The following experience is preferred:

- Project design experience in mining or minerals processing applications.
- Design of Motor Control Centres.
- Instrumentation specification and selection.
- Development of design deliverables such as cable schedules, equipment lists, and instrument lists.
- Design of Single Line, Schematics, and Termination Diagrams.
- Tendering and evaluation of major equipment.
- Report writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience instructing and managing designers/draftspeople.
- Consulting experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to perform site work, commissioning, and travel to remote locations.
- Effective communication and client liaison skills.
