We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering brownfield minerals processing projects across Western Australia. This opportunity suits someone with a solid background in power systems, instrumentation and controls, and hands-on experience using ETAP would be highly regarded.

Whether you're seeking a long-term contract or a permanent position, this role offers exposure to complex, multidiscipline projects in the resource sector – with immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver robust electrical, instrumentation and control systems in accordance with project and statutory requirements.
  • Develop technical documentation including specifications, datasheets, load studies, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams.
  • Conduct system modelling and analysis using ETAP.
  • Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews including Safety-in-Design and Constructability Assessments.
  • Provide support during construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and site-based personnel to ensure project milestones are met.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 8-10+ years' experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Strong technical understanding of power distribution, instrumentation, control systems, and relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000).
  • Proficiency in ETAP for power system modelling and analysis.
  • Previous exposure to brownfield project environments and operational plants.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Full Australian working rights and flexibility to travel to site on occasion.
