Narooma Mitre 10 is a leading timber and hardware supplier operating across the Sapphire Coast in NSW.

With a strong presence across 6 stores under the Mitre 10 and Total Tools brandings, the stores in the regions are planning for further expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving business.

About the Opportunity

Narooma Mitre 10 is looking to expand its trade division by bringing in a proactive and commercially minded Trade Account Manager to lead that charge. You'll cover the territory down the coast from Narooma north to Batemans Bay, identifying new business opportunities while deepening existing trade partnerships.

About You

- Actively source and convert new trade customers, building a strong pipeline and opening new doors across the area.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring long-term loyalty through consistent engagement and tailored solutions.
- Promote our extensive range of timber and hardware products, delivering expert advice to meet your clients’ project needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to our continued trade growth.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure fast, seamless service and delivery to your trade customers.
- Stay on the front foot with market intelligence – keeping up with industry shifts, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes, and bring opportunities through to close.
- Provide timely reporting and insights to track progress and inform future strategy.

You Are Likely to Be a Match If You Have:

- Experience in trade sales, preferably within the timber and hardware industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse customer base.
- Sound product knowledge and the ability to provide technical advice and recommendations.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive sales opportunities to completion.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Valid driver's license.
