We are looking for a passionate and talented Senior Tech Lead to join our dynamic team and help craft exceptional end-to-end digital solutions for a diverse set of clients, including some of Australia’s most esteemed brands.

Working across various engagements in either Brisbane or Sydney, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring CI&T provides high value technical solutions to our Australian clients. This role involves working closely with project managers and technical directors across CI&T, but more so, with our client's technical teams, to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Pre-Sales: Collaborate with teams to assist crafting proposal solutions, design technical proposals, and create PoCs/Demos for client engagements.

- Software Solution Design: Design end-to-end solutions that meet client objectives, define architecture, and collaborate with development teams for implementation.

- Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand needs and provide expert guidance, fostering knowledge sharing within cross-functional teams.

- Documentation & Quality Assurance: Develop detailed architectural documentation, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development.

What You Bring

- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, preferably across varied and modern platforms, having been a software engineer/coder for at least 5 years of that time.

- Cloud fluency (AWS preferred, Azure/GCP a bonus)

- Microservices, APIs, modern web frameworks

- Comfortable with data platforms such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks, Snowflake; data isn’t just a buzzword to you.

- Real‑world experience solving real‑world business challenges, from retail to fintech to healthcare.

- Consultancy experience is a must.

- Ability to serve as a technical lead and/or architect for a project, as needed, contributing actively to projects, and engaging directly with clients’ technical and business teams when required.
