The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a reliable and efficient individual to provide day‑to‑day operational support and oversee the operations of the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre (BVCCC).

Responsibilities

As a BVCCC Venue Assistant you will:

- Prepare the venue for functions, events and meetings, including catering, entertainment, décor, audio‑visual equipment, promotional material, cleaning and security.

- Act as the first point of contact and assist with all BVCCC venue enquiries.

- Oversee facility, asset, maintenance and utility service needs and planning.

Qualifications

- Certificate III qualification relevant to the position.

- NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA).

- Three years of hands‑on experience in venue administration, bar operations, meetings and oversight of casual staff.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, organisational and time‑management skills.

- Physical fitness to perform operational tasks including venue set‑up and pack‑down.

- Experience using Microsoft Office programs and venue management software.
