**The Role**
Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks
- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and a Lactose free range.
**Responsibilities**
- Guide and enhance the site’s Quality Management System to meet internal and external standards
- Build team capability and foster ownership of food safety and quality across operations
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards for all products and trials
- Drive improvements in key quality metrics including RFT, GMP, and complaint reduction
- Lead investigations, audits, and corrective actions for major quality issues
**About you**
- Proven experience in senior quality management within food or beverage manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, ISO14001, and food safety systems
- Skilled in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in quality management software systems (e.g., Intelex) and data analysis
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or related field
