Contract Administrator / Senior Contract Administrator | Building & Civil Projects

Location: Darwin, NT

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 + Super (negotiable)

Employment Type: Permanent

A well-established national contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator or Senior CA to support the delivery of upcoming Defence, civil, and building projects in the Northern Territory.

This is a great opportunity for someone with exposure to both vertical (building) and horizontal (civil) projects who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across diverse project scopes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage head contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processes
- Prepare progress claims, variations, and subcontractor payments
- Assist the Project Manager with project reporting and forecasting
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication
- Ensure all documentation complies with company and client standards
- Support project delivery from pre-construction through to completion

About You

- 5+ years' experience in contract administration within construction or civil contracting
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial project management
- Experience across both building and civil infrastructure projects preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, or similar)
