Install sheet flooring

Erect light weight steel wallframes and roof trusses

Install windows and doors

Install sheet metal roof cladding

Construct eaves

Team work - remember you are the eyes and ears of the PM onsite

Set out buildings on site

Set up building levels as per datum and drawings provided

Ensure all necessary materials to complete the project are on site on time

Install exterior wall claddings

Install linings, panelling and mouldings

Fit man holes, special door furniture, extra specific flashings etc.

Undertake reworks and refurbish builds as required

Install transit walls as and when required

Undertake maintenance and repair work as required

Modify furniture products to suit specific requirements

Close out punch list items prior to and after client inspections

Erect scaffolding around buildings when required

Build stairs, ramps and other items as required

Provide assistance to trade workers and labourers to perform their duties

Perform any other carpentry duties as required

General Responsibilities

Interface with various departments to maximise workflow

Day to day planning and decision making

Delegation of work between team to maximise workflow

Keep abreast of production schedule requirements

Maintain an open and honest relationship with your peers

Ensure you strive to complete all works to a high standard

Plan, organise and direct resources in a safe and cost effective manner

Monitor your performance against pre-determined targets

Ensure that as far as practical resources waste is minimised

Lead by example and be fully accountable for your performance indicators and that of your team

Actively participate in planning and other aspects of business improvement and development

Be proactive in the development of a well-trained and well-informed team, aligned to the business key goals and objectives

Support all levels of your team including any apprentices

Complete builds as necessary to meet schedules

Carry out measurements and calculations

Read and interpret plans and specifications

Ensure all Fleetwood owned tools and plant are safe and maintained in good working order.

Erect and dismantle scaffolding

Handle carpentry materials
